Besides being an author, I'm a painter, sculptor, and digital artist. I'm probably best known to comics fans for my contribution to Neil Gaiman's "Sandman" series, and my graphic novel adaptation of Anne Rice's "The Witching Hour." As a writer, besides my novel, "Darkwalker," I've contibuted short stories to several anthologies, and Publisher’s Weekly lauded my tale “Snovhit” (from "Rapunzel's Daughters") as having a “authentically ancient feel.” I'm art director for Necon Ebooks and for Pink Narcissus Press, where I'm also an editor. As an artist, I've created many book covers, magazine illustrations, and a few movie posters. I've made hand sculpted leather masks for Wes Craven’s film Cursed, the Big Apple Circus, magician Jeff McBride, and the WWE wrestler Kane. With my partner, I recently founded Corvid Design, to provide affordable professional book cover design for small, indie and self publishers: http://corviddesign.com/. I'm also a former advertising copywriter, screen printer, private detective, actor, and stage combat choreographer. I live just outside Providence, Rhode Island (former home to Poe and Lovecraft) and spend most of my time in my studio, surrounded by far too many drums, swords, books, and DVDs. I can be found online at eaglesondesign.com, and on Artstation https://www.artstation.com/duncaneagleson. There's also a website for our new series, The Age of Invention, which starts with Fire Aloft.
