Dr. Sharlaine Ortiz is an American author who completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology. Dr. Ortiz completed an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Intelligence Operations, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology, and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Applied Psychology. Her research interest include Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Anxiety Disorders (AD), and underrepresented groups. Other interests include Personality, Cognitive assessment in adult populations, and correctional psychology. Dr. Ortiz is an Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) veteran who honorably served as Senior Intelligence Analyst at NATO ISAF (International Security Assistance Force) for the US Armed Forces during combat operations in Afghanistan. Dr. Ortiz is a member of the International Honor Society of Psychology Psi Chi and of the Golden Key International. Presently, Dr. Ortiz is interested in becoming a Clinical, Forensic, and Ethics in Psychology, researcher.
