Donna Fielder was a newspaper reporter and columnist for 33 years before leaving daily journalism to concentrate on writing books in 2012. She won numerous statewide and national awards for her features, crime reporting and a weekly humor column she wrote for 30 years. She was named Texas Star Reporter of the Year twice by the Associated Press for her newspaper circulation group. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Texas with a degree in journalism. Donna's latest book, "What Evil Lurks," tells the true stories of four beautiful young women who each was working a plan to succeed in life and the sadistic psychopath who robbed them of their dreams and throttled their lives. He loved kidnapping, raping and strangling innocent girls with long brown hair, Donna's first published true crime book, "Ladykiller," Penguin/Berkley, 2012, became a national Barnes & Noble bestseller. It is a true story about a cop who almost got away with murdering his wife and is available at book stores and on Amazon. It deals with the unthinkable - children who murder their mother in a small Texas town, take her car and travel halfway across the U.S. before a curious cop wonders why three teens are far from home in an automobile they don't own.
