Diane Sweeney is the author of The Essential Guide for Student-Centered Coaching (Corwin, 2020), Leading Student-Centered Coaching (Corwin, 2018), Student-Centered Coaching: The Moves (Corwin, 2016), and Moves for Launching a New Year of Student-Centered Coaching (Corwin, 2022). As an educator for over twenty years, Diane holds a longstanding interest in how adult learning translates to learning in the classroom. Her bestselling books are grounded in the simple but powerful premise that coaching can be designed to directly impact student learning. Diane has served as a teacher and literacy coach in the Denver Public Schools, has supported teams of coaches, and is an instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
