Den Patrick lives and works in London with his wife and two cats. He is the author of six books for Gollancz including The War Fighting Manuals and The Erebus Sequence. The Boy with the Porcelain Blade was nominated for the British Fantasy Society Best Newcomer award in 2015. A new series, The Ashen Torment, is released from Harper Voyager. The first book in the series is called Witchsign and the follow up, called Stormtide, is released in May 2019.
