A novella at 42k words, this book imagines Shakespeare's final days which include a secret commission by James I to be the last editorial filter of his new bible and a plot by Ben Jonson and Robert Cecil to end the life of the Poet (as Shakespeare is called in the book). October 27. David and his wife, Benita, live in Franklin, Tennessee near their two sons Adam and Shad, and their wives Katie and Robin.
