In late 2019, I swapped covering my small-town news stories as a journalist for writing true crime stories. The topic of true crime has always intrigued me, so when I got the chance to begin my anthology series "Unbelievable Crimes" I dove right in. My books cover the lesser-known crimes that even knowledgeable true crime followers may not have heard of. Aside from researching and writing about crimes, I enjoy making my own gin, going to the movies, and getting lost in a good book. Of course, true crime books rank as my number one genre, but I also enjoy thrillers, comedy, and the occasional horror. I also have two rescue dogs and I'm hoping to add another to the family in 2024.
