Daniel Foxx writes history, biography, and of his observations about people and events. He is a retired history professor now embarked on a new full-time career writing about those things he feels passionate about. With his wife, Mary-Helen, as coauthor, he recently finished a fictional trilogy: "Charlie's Girl", "Nellie's Girl", and "Rosalind's Roots." His biography "Nathan Bedford Forrest: In Search of the Enigma," with Eddy W. Davison, won the Arizona book award for biography and was a finalist for the 2008 Independent Book Publishers Association Benjamin Franklin Award. He is working on his upcoming book, which reflects his observations of misadventures in communication.
