Dana Hollister is the author of three books in the series, I Know Where They Went: The Window, The Black Stone and Thunder & Lightning. Dana is an outdoor educator, instructor, and guide. He is best known for his accomplishments in the technical rock climbing community, and is the author of The River Runner's Guide to the Salt River in Arizona. His adventurous nature and love for the outdoors found him spending a great deal of time in southern Utah exploring the canyons where an ancient people once lived. It is here in this rugged, beautiful country that he found the inspiration for his writing. Dana's home base is in Arizona where he lives with his wife Cindy.
