Greetings from Atlanta, Georgia. I'm a father of 2 and have been married for 25 years and I'm a dad and a husband first and a aspiring author second. I love spending time with my family and just hanging out around my town and exploring my beautiful state of Georgia. I love watching and rooting for all of my Atlanta sports teams win or lose and follow my son's school, University of Georgia with passion of heart. I love to read all David Baldacci's novels and in the midst of reading the Bible from cover to cover, something that has been on my must do list for a long time. My wife and I like to go to wineries around our state and would love to go to the Napa Valley to visit one day, just haven't made it happen yet. Life. Why did I write this book? Well, it sure wasn't planned. When I started gathering information on my ADHD and taking down many notes on paper I decided to write a book on my own journey on how I got to this point. As someone who got diagnosed later on in adulthood I always suspected that I had it but never did anything about it. I had convinced myself that my time had passed and there was no point on pursuing it any further, after all I was already out of school and settled into my career. To me the time to get evaluated was when you were in school because that is when getting evaluated could make the most impactful result on your life. A lot of factors changed in my reasoning and I got evaluated and everything started to change in my life for the better. I truly believe knowledge is so very powerful and I'm so very thankful that I got evaluated. My understanding of my ADHD has opened up so many doors for me that otherwise would have been closed forever had I not got my diagnosis. I now embrace my uniqueness and can't wait to see what lies ahead.
