CLARISSA JACOBSON is a screenwriter, voice over artist, actress and producer of her own content who is originally from Minnesota – land of sky-blue waters, tater-tots, and the best State Fair in the world! A graduate of Indiana University and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, Clarissa started as a performer and later discovered her true passion – screenwriting. From there, she joined Twin Bridges Writing Salon – the longest running workshop in Los Angeles. She is best known for being the writer, producer and creator of the multi-award-winning comedy/horror short - Lunch Ladies - based on her feature. The short went to over 100 film festivals, won forty-six awards, and secured distribution all over the world. Her journey with the film became the catalyst for her first book: I Made A Short Film Now WTF Do I Do With It (a guide to film festivals, promotion and surviving the ride) - which is also now translated into Indonesian by Minikino in Bali, and has an audible version. In addition, Clarissa creates scripted projects with Shayna Weber under their Rebel Minx banner. Ms. Jacobson currently resides in Los Angeles with all the other beautiful weirdos. Her websites can be found at: heyimclarissaj.com, rebelminx.com and lunchladiesmovie.com
