Three years ago, I started People & Company with Kevin Huynh and Kai Elmer Sotto. Our mission is to help people bring their people together. We work with organizations to make smarter bets about investing in their communities. We also interview extraordinary people organizers on our podcast “Get Together,” and in August 2019 we published a book ("Get Together") on how to build communities today based on the research and strategy work we've done with hundreds of community organizers. In the past, I grew the communities around Instagram, IDEO, StoryCorps, Pop-Up Magazine and The California Sunday Magazine. I've also started a Mola Mola Fan Club and a Queer Pool Club.
