Ann Paul is the author of Caring for Your Aging Parent and Your Pocket Guide to Laser Tattoo Removal. As an entrepreneur and a writer, Ann draws on all her skills to share her expertise with readers. The majority of her work focuses on caregiving, in particular for aging parents, but she writes on a variety of topics in which she has expertise. Ann is a certified paralegal specializing in estates, wills, and trusts. She is also a business owner, running a successful CoolSculpting center, and is a certified tattoo removal specialist. She was the primary caregiver for her 95-year-old mother for over 14 years until her passing in November of 2023. Ann has always been passionate about using her platform as a writer to share advice with readers, and as her caregiving journey has developed, she has felt a responsibility to share her experiences to help other caregivers navigate the difficult journey and manage the risk of caregiver burnout – a phenomenon she’s all too familiar with. She aims to guide readers as they strive to maintain a healthy work-life balance and build emotional resilience as they navigate their role as a caregiver. Born and raised in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, Ann has been married to Tim, for 42 years and they share two daughters, four grandchildren, and their beloved fur babies, Nala and Rylee. Until her passing in November, 2023, Ann's elderly mother resided with them for over 25 years.
