This was an entertaining book and reminded me of the "undead" series written by Mary Janice Davidson. This is a story about a girl named Sookie who could read minds and falls in love with Bill the vampire. Book filled with mystery, sex and romance. Was a light listen and I look forward to listening to the rest in the series.

This was an easy listen type audiobook. It had some mystery, some sex, but mostly it was just easy to listen to. I really liked the narrator and the story line was pretty good. I have not read any of the other books in this series yet but look forward to starting the next one.

Captivating plot, without all of the gratuitous violence and shock-value sex scenes on the HBO series. Since I'm now in book #3 of the series, the writing style is getting a bit stale-- the author likes to recycle a bit--but the story is a real page-turner. Obviously (as other reviewers have pointed out) this isn't high literature, but highly entertaining and definitely worth a credit.

This writer doesnt get caught up in sexy scenes filled with crap..at least not much.. and she doesnt use language that wilts flowers, often..and still manages to get a good book written. I respect that. This book is a good read for anybody not wanting anything to serious but needs something entertaining.
