This was absolutely a marvelous book and I could hardly wait to finish it. It was ingenious and I enjoyed getting to know the characters into further depths. There were unique twists and intrigue. This is a definitive recommendation if you enjoy adventure fantasy. Although listed under the young adult section, it is really marvelous for any age.

these were my son's favorite books, and he still reads them at 23 on occasion, and he finally got me to read them by listening to them on here. The cast is simply amazing it truly bring the book alive! this third book brings to life everything I love about YL science fiction. set an alternate history it incorporates science, light romance, adventure, and real decision making processes.
