Publisher's summary
He slowly tried to open his eyes, and when he did, he wondered where she went. In front of him was a plain girl, red hair that hung limply down past her shoulders in no fashionable way, green eyes, not fat or anything, but not a perfect or even sexy body. She was what he and his friends would call a plain Jane.
"Are you feeling better?" she asked. Then he knew, that heavenly voice, was hers. He didn't let her know that he was disappointed in who she was, he simply smiled, "Thank you so much! That was amazing, the way you helped me. I guess I had a few too many drinks, and it hit me quick." "Yeah, my sister is inside, I'm her dd. She's your girlfriend's best friend, Billie, and she always comes home from these parties sick, and I am the one who stays up all night with her, helping her through it." When he listened to her speak, he realized that there was more to this "plain Jane" then anyone knew. Without thinking, he grabbed her, pulled her close, and hugged her. It wasn't a sexual or lustful hug, but just a friendly hug to show his appreciation. Just then he heard screaming.
"I turn my head for one second and my boyfriend is out here cheating on me!!!!!" Sandra screamed at the top of her lungs. She was standing in the open doorway that led out back from the house. "No." They both quickly stood and tried to speak. They both had a guilty look on their faces, even though they weren't doing anything wrong. "Really? Really? You weren't cheating? No, you just came out back, where all the Losers are, and you have some Tramp in your arms, but you are not cheating???" At this point, there was no reasoning with her. She was in a fit of rage. "You must be drunk, because look at this tramp. She has to be the ugliest thing at this party, and you are in her arms instead of mine? Have you seen me? What, you think she's sexier than me??"

This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... We hope your new audio bible will go everywhere with you and be a blessing for years to come.

Wonderful young adult story!
Where does High School Accident Turns Them Into Best Friends rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This actually was one of my first audio books, but it was a wonderful "read". There are several important lessons that young adults should hear and learn. Each of them are presented with a light hand, which lets them slip by easily - with out a heavy handed "moral of the story feel."The narrator's voice does a wonderful job isolating each character and making them individuals, which was one of my concerns about audio books. I will definitely be keeping an eye/ear out for more from this narrator!
What was one of the most memorable moments of High School Accident Turns Them Into Best Friends?
When Chris stood up at the prom to declare his love for Sarah, finally taking responsibility to himself for being an individual, not just one of the herd.
What about Elizabeth Meadows’s performance did you like?
A nice, smooth, easy voice to listen to. She hardened it a little for the cheerleader, who was more than a bit stuck up, which let that character become an individual, and let you dislike her. She also was able to truly emulate someone coming off of a ventilator - I have hear those voices many times from working in a hospital. Well done!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Chris realized he had been an idiot and caused problems for someone due to his actions. It was the moment his feet were obviously set on the road to gaining a personal maturity and independence. Strong people are always nice to hear about for me, even in a fictional setting.
Any additional comments?
Only reason I gave the performance 4 stars, was because of technical difficulties - had trouble getting the story to play. That may be more because of my own lack of experience than anything else. Well done Elizabeth, nicely written Tiffani!

- Can't get enough books
- 08-21-14
I really enjoyed listening to this book.
What made the experience of listening to High School Accident Turns Them Into Best Friends the most enjoyable?
I enjoyed the way the narrator engaged the reader. She didn't sound like many dull boring narrators, but she acted as though she was really reading me a story. I loved it
What did you like best about this story?
The way it ended. Can't give that away because it will be a spoiler, but you know what, the lesson that was learned in this book would be great for young adults on up to grandparents
What does Elizabeth Meadows bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She gives this book character. You can tell she wrote it, because she is truly engaged in it while she reads. Overall, this was a great experience.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It didn't make me cry .... I'm a man, but if I was a female.. NO NO , I'm just kidding. it was sentimental, made me mist, but not cry.
but hey, I didn't even cry at old yeller, so ...
Any additional comments?
She is absolutely right, the cover that the publisher put on there doesn't fit, and the name could be something else. It has no right in erotica and sexuality, just as Elizabeth warned. Since she warned though, I was ready and it didn't freak me out
Great job ...Tiffani ;)
