Rico Banderas is a cocky but good-hearted smuggler, accompanied by his sassy AI companion Sam. While on a routine cargo run in his aging freighter The Sapphire, Rico is suddenly attacked by mysterious raiders. His ship is damaged and he's forced to make an emergency crash landing on a strange new planet. Rico finds himself stranded in a lush valley inhabited by exotic beast-like humanoids called Beastkin. Though resembling animals with fur, claws, tails, and animal ears, they walk upright and possess human-level intelligence and speech.

I binged the whole thing in one go when I noticed it was released
I was waiting for it to come out after the first book and is a great continuation of the first and adds future conflicts to occur.

An excellent continuation of the series.
This book while a little shorter than I would like it had all the best parts of the previous book while also improving on the slightly jaring pov transitions of the previous book.

Will stop series here
Has the same issues as the first book. Feels like a mishmash of several other litrpg series with little tension that any important MC will die or not succeed. Not horrible but probably below average for genre.
