Great Romanesque Isekai

This book was gritty in a good way
So the author did an excellent job in nailing the gritty details. It’s also not a hyper inflated isekai hero novel. The beginning is a bit rough but it gets pretty good once you get past that. Few errors in the sound recording but not that bad. I definitely recommend this book it’s good.

Worth every penny
A great start and set up for things to come along with not being too slow and kept a pretty good pace of down time and action along with getting a good peek at general grunt life

it's worth the money not superpowered izakai
the main character isn't super strong he's brought into a world practically made a slave of the government and has to fight someone else's wars he's not overpowered he has to work super hard through tons of torture and practice before he gains any type of real strength izakai if it was realistic honestly I thought this book was really good surprised how well it turned out to be honest I wasn't going to read this but I ran out of things that sounded interesting so I gave it a chance I'm not disappointed

wasn't edited before moving from web
The issues this book had when it was a web novel have not been addressed at all.
The dialog is stilted and it reads like a report on what happened, lots of first x happened than y was upset.
On top of that there are myriad typos that are read out by the Narrator making it even harder to listen too.
I'm honestly not sure how it gets such high ratings, but it shows there is a desire for this type of story.

Slow
The book has a great plot and a good narrator. The magic system is fun. The MC isn’t annoyingly stupid. The book has way too little battles for my taste. And as much as I liked the book, I cant see myself running to use a credit on book 2 in the future. Until I see some reviews that hopefully say the book has a good amount of action.
