Great workbook!

I found this audiobook to be a game changer. It offers practical self care strategies that really helped me to work through real life events and situations that affect us on a daily basis. Really powerful were the examples of some of most influential black figures and what they do. I loved this. A New Perspective

Ms. Ebony Essence opened my eyes to a new perspective. "Emotional Self-Care For Black Women", though it is written specifically for women of color, had a lot to say to me as a white women. Her techniques and excises for increasing self love and confidence speak to all women I believe. We all, at times, tend to self-sabotage and have low self esteem. And anxiety is something we all deal with. But from her perspective and directing her focus specifically to the black woman is admirable. There are not enough books on the subject. And writing it in a workbook form was brilliant. I highly recommend her book.
"Emotional Self-Care for Black Women" is an insightful and motivating workbook. It offers realistic and understandable guidance while addressing Black women's particular emotional difficulties. The strength of the work is in its comprehension and compassion for the demands placed on Black women by society and culture. Beyond general self-care advice, it emphasizes long-term habits and approaches that honor cultural identity. It seems very doable because the counsel is practical and based on actual experiences. My favorite parts were the parts about busting damaging beliefs and the effective tactics employed by well-known Black people. Anybody wishing to give their emotional health real and culturally affirming priority should read this book.
