Grimwood

This laugh-out-loud chapter book series follows adorably rambunctious fox siblings Ted and Nancy as they get into (and out of) trouble, making many colorful friends along the way. Our story begins when Ted, a young fox, accidentally bites off the tail of the fearsome street cat Princess Buttons. (It looked a lot like a dumpster hot dog!) With Buttons and her gang out for vengeance, Ted and his big sister Nancy must flee the city, taking cover in the nearby forest community of Grimwood.

When Ted and Nancy arrive in Grimwood, instead of peace and quiet, they’re met with thieving eagles, dramatic ducks, riotous rabbits, and a whole host of unusual characters. Grimwood is . . . weird. But when Princess Buttons tracks them down, they must unite with the other animals of Grimwood in a mind-bending race against time!

After a run-in with the scariest street cat in the Big City, fox cub siblings Ted and Nancy flee for Grimwood, expecting to find refuge in the peaceful countryside. Instead, they are met with thieving eagles, dramatic ducks, riotous rabbits and an absurd game called Treebonk! While Ted quickly falls in love with his wacky new neighbours, Nancy thinks they’re all bonkers. But she soon discovers that, as kooky they are, the animals of Grimwood always look out for each other. Now Nancy must ask herself an important question: yes, Grimwood may be weird, but could it also be...home?

A Bigfoot is on the loose! Ted, Nancy, Willow and the rest of the Grimwood gang must embark on their greatest adventure yet to save their home from a nasty, thieving stink monster. Monster hunters are GO!
