An English family have just moved to a house in India. They find Rikki-Tikki-Tavi the mongoose flooded out of his burrow. A pair of large cobras, Nag and Nagaina, attempt unsuccessfully to kill him. He hears the cobras plotting to kill the father in the house, and attacks Nag in the bathroom. The sound of the fight attracts the father, who shoots Nag. Story
In the midst of bombs and bullets, trenches and trauma, the soldiers of World War I, and those observing the horrors taking place from home, took pen to paper to record their experiences in verse. These poems - considered the greatest written during WWI and some of the greatest poetry of the twentieth century - show the horror of war but also shine a light on the strength of human courage, bravery, and virtue.

Story
On Midsummer Eve in a Sussex meadow, Dan and Una act out their version of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Suddenly, Puck, as old as Time itself, miraculously appears. The youngsters are swept into the past as Puck conjures up villages of long ago, filled with craftsmen, a Roman centurion, and a Norman knight. Story
The Jungle Book is a collection of stories, originally published in magazines in the late 1800s, that involve animals with anthropomorphic characteristics to convey moral lessons. The most famous of these stories involves a young Indian boy named Mowgli who was raised by wolves in the Indian jungle. He and his friends - Baloo, a sloth bear; and Bagheera, a black panther - go on many adventures, culminating in a fight with the jungle's bully, the tiger Shere Khan.
