great look into extremism

an interesting dive into the similarities of both White supremacist extremism and how easily lone teenagers and people who don't feel like they fit in can be easily swayed and I both neo-nazism and Islamic terrorism. and a compelling ending on how America should be on the lookout for domestic alt right white supremacist neo-Nazi terrorism. Bubba nice if he had more of a dive into how Donald Trump's surgeons and taking over the Conservative Republican Party has led to this rise a white supremacist terrorist actions in America.

Just another angry white loser.

I can't help but wonder if there would be as much psychological and neurological evaluation if this kid were brown or black. Listening to his interrogation and then hearing someone say on the stand that he can't communicate effectively is outrageous. This is an interesting story overall, but it's not a new one. Special rules for "special" people. A manipulative, sociopathic, sick little boy stringing along a bunch of doctors and psychologists to keep himself out of prison and in the good graces of whoever he is standing in front of at the moment. He pulls it off because the "experts" are so deeply invested in making up excuses & twisting the evidence for him. Autism and schizophrenia are serious issues, they shouldn't be used to keep violent nerds out of jail.

Bazinga

This was an interesting podcast. The narrator did a good job. The interviews varied between good and others that could have been left out. Overall a good listen.

Disclaimer: My enjoyment of the narrator is based on my listening speed. I only leave 5 stars for books I've listened to multiple times. I'll update my review if I listen again.

Not sure why this has to be political

You could take pretty much any politician out of context and make them sound like they are blowing “dog whistles”. I’m done listening to this slanted narrative. I do think there is an issue that needs major attention but really, toting the line of the left isn’t the way to get support.
