Skyline Chili, Is it Safe for People With Allergies?

    Skyline Chili Allergen Menu: https://www.skylinechili.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/21062-SLC-Allergen-Info-2019.pdf

I have always eaten at Skyline Chili since I was a kid. I have always enjoyed Skyline Chili because they have extremely quick service and really good food. It is based out of Cincinnati, Ohio and we have lots of restaurants in Central Ohio. I have also eaten their Skyline Chili spaghetti frozen meals at my local Walmart. It is really good!

Food Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Rationale: From the hot dogs, chili, fries, spaghetti, and the oyster crackers everything from Skyline is really good. It helps that they give you skyline oysters as a free appetizer. I normally get hot dogs, chili in a bowl (because I have been told that the buns contain dairy).

Allergy Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Rationale: I feel like the allergen menu has a great idea. I like that they tell you what you can eat. I did have an allergic reaction to their oyster crackers. I know, right? They used to put dairy in their crackers. Luckily that is taken care of. So I’m giving this restaurant a good review and I highly recommend eating at Skyline Chili.

*Disclaimer: My intention is to not get anyone sick, my intention is to help people be more aware of food allergies and good foods/places to eat. Please notify the restaurant you’re eating at that you have an allergy. Restaurants might change the recipes without my knowledge so it is always best to check with the restaurant. I just share my experiences with the restaurant/food items and give you an honest opinion so you can enjoy that item. I am not responsible for any sickness you may result from a restaurant or food product. I will try to give you links to allergen menus or have ingredients to foods I review, but you need to make sure you contact your allergist/physician if you should eat certain item/restaurant or not.

  • Benny’s Pizza: A Place that has Really Improved since the Last Time I was There
    May 31 2024

I haven’t had Benny’s Pizza in years. I just recently went with my friends from Church and I was generally impressed. The last time I had it, I had an allergic reaction to ribs and fries. I know, right! Ribs and Fries? This happened when I was a kid and don’t necessarily remember all the details.

Food Rating 5 out of 5 Stars

Rationale: The wings were excellent. I got the bone in wings and the boneless wings. Both were really good and I genuinely enjoyed eating both of them.

Allergy Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars

Rationale: If it were last week I would’ve not given this restaurant high remarks, but things have luckily changed for me. Everyone was so friendly and answered all my questions. I called ahead and confirmed with my waiter to make sure everything was dairy-free. The only thing I would change is getting an allergy menu on their website. If your associated with Benny’s let me know and I can write one for you. DM me on Instagram or email me at ben@bensallergyandrestaurantreviews.com or comment down below on YouTube or wherever Podcast app you are listening to. I would love to help you improve even more.

Overall, I recommend eating here. Make sure you communicate with your waiter/waitress and tell them about your allergy.
