Autistic Women Working

By: Paula Jones
  • Summary

  • Are you a late-diagnosis autistic woman, and self-employed or a professional? I bet your most used phrase is "Oh, so that's why!" isn't it?

At least, that's what mine was when I was diagnosed at 46. It suddenly made everything make sense, like why I was so often passed over for promotion, or why I couldn't hold down a particular type of job, or why I was just so bloody tired by people ALL of the time.

If this sounds like you, and you want to listen to stories of autism in the workplace, learn strategies for living in a world that isn't designed for neurodivergents, and hear from guests that I'll be talking to occasionally, then you're in the right place.

I'm Paula Jones, a psychologist, life coach and hypnotherapist, and I've been spending my life on a quest to find out why I'm different. I've got all the tools to help you, and me, to get through this thing together.

Useful content for Autism and/or ADHD

I have Autism and ADHD, and I found the content super helpful. I never got any help for Autism, and I only found out last year that I was diagnosed with ADHD. I have had so many problems in every aspect of my life, and I found the speaker refreshing and I was able to relate to her experiences. She also has a really nice voice. I had my live captions on which helped when I missed things or got confused because I have auditory processing issues. Easy listen.
