Much Needed !

This book is very timely as teen depression and anxiety are at an all-time high. The author approaches this topic with compassion and empathy as he guides teens to ways to alleviate these issues.

I appreciate the science backed methods and coping skills provided. I think this book is appropriate for all teens so that have the needed if they ever face these issues, or have a friend who does.

ESSENTIAL GUIDE FOR STRUGGLING TEENS

Must Read For All Teens - Great Book

This is one of the best books I've read about battling depression and anxiety for teens or adults for that matter. There's so much to learn in this book—from understanding what depression and anxiety is to overcoming them. I especially love how the author can relate to what teens are going through, and I believe it makes it a more relatable book for teens because of the author's background. This is an amazing read for any teen, whether or not they’re going through something like depression. Personally impressed, I plan to purchase additional copies as thoughtful gifts. Highly recommend this amazing book to any teen audience.

very important topic, solid contribution

This topic is critical today - anxiety and depression and a host of other mental health challenges are skyrocketing. In the last 3 years the number of teens afflicted with this array of challenges has more than quadrupled (NIH national health report 2023). Any and all help we can give this population is SO important. My favorite chapters were: Your Faith: Let God Hear You, Impacts of Negativity, Understanding Intrusive Thoughts, and Bad Acquaintances. The chapter lengths were good, but I did not like the narrator particularly.... how do young people respond to the narrator? I am a grandma and listened to this before giving to my niece whose parents are divorcing. I recommend.
