This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... The Right Flavor
Immaculate research rich in Biblical truth and historic battle scenes. Intense storylines that have the Right flavor including herbs and methods used for cooking and healing. First time in fiction that the "school of the prophets" as a Community came alive for me. Excellent narration. Even the author's note was well worth the listen. Can't wait for the next one!!

Evocative!
McNeely brings characters-both biblical and fictional-to life in vivid settings and compelling circumstances. Her stories weave tapestries of meaning from simple, understated events. Definite yes to future novels.
