Publisher's summary

A hockey romance performed by a full cast including Samantha Brentmoor, Teddy Hamilton, Jason Clarke and Connor Crais!

I swear I only asked one hot hockey-playing friend to give me romance lessons for the week, but three hockey stars volunteered.

The post breakup plan was simple escape from my toxic ex to a vacation rental and stay far away from men.

But thanks to a booking snafu I'm accidentally sharing it with three hot hockey players. One's flirty, one's broody, one's a cheeky Brit, and they're all the most attentive men I've ever met.

After a couple of glasses of champagne, I'm telling them about the contest my ex is running on his dating advice web site. The topic? What makes a great boyfriend, and I want to submit a column.

All three offer to show me every single thing I've been missing in and out of bed.

We make a deal for one week only. It's only for revenge, of course. I work for the other hockey team in the city so it'd be a big mistake to truly get involved with a rival, let alone three.

Even though I melt under their touch. They show me what it means to be adored, cherished and romanced.

But as the week ticks on, what started as revenge fast turns into me giving my heart to three men I can't have. Looks like I'm well and truly pucked.

Fantastic Full Cast!

This was fun, steamy, cute, and swoony! I really liked Briar a lot. I absolutely loved seeing her go from her crummy ex to three hockey players who treat her exactly how she deserves to be! The guys just seem to make her more her if that makes sense. It's like she is opened up more to what happy looks like with a good guy(s). I clearly enjoyed Rhys, Hollis, and Gavin. I feel like each guy was uniquely them, sometimes I struggle with that in a why choose. This was such a good read and a great balance of all the spice and yet being cutesy, too!

Loved it

I just want to say that this duet narration is my favorite especially hearing Connor, Teddy and Jason speak more than a few chapters like in other books. This just made it better, listening in on each of their personalities. I gotta say I did not know Jason could do the British accent. I enjoyed it and the slight different voice he gave Steven, first time he does not sound so deep, although I enjoy his grumbling voice. As always, Connor never disappoints. His velvety, deep, silky smooth voice just entrances me every time I hear him. Teddy, I just cannot get enough of that voice, he oozes personality and brings every word to life. Now Samantha, it’s the first time I listen to her narration and can’t say that it was bad. I enjoyed how they all interact together. This review is subject to change because I am not done with this book.

Loved the duet!

I love when an audiobook is done in duet and this was some of my favorite audio book readers on the same book! Definitely will listen to this one again! I loved the bloopers at the end, I’ve never heard that on an audiobook before.

Why Choose?

I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this book so I got to read and listen to it in one day each. What a way to end a series! I loved these boys. I appreciated how Lauren decided to change it up for the last book and add a third guy. It made it stand out. One of the things I loved about this book was how different it is from other Why Choose books. What Lauren does best is flesh out a character. All four of them had serious baggage that they had to overcome in their lives. We got to know them all on a deeper level. It wasn’t just all about the spice. (Not that there wasn’t plenty of that!) Another highlight for me was the list that Briar reads at the end about what makes a great boyfriend. All those things are things we all could be doing in our own relationships.
As for the audio, Samantha brought it all home for me. She was along for the ride from day one and finished strong. As for the boys, you all know I love this trio. Gavin, was of course my favorite, (cough Connor cough). The way they took care of Briar and treated her was magic. After this series I have only one question, Lauren, where are my hockey players?

Spicy and fun!!

Goal!!!!! Or should I say, hat-trick? Lauren Blakely continues her My Hockey Romance series with a spicy, why choose romance featuring 3 men with completely different personalities and one feisty yoga instructor! Briar has had bad luck choosing men. Now after a mix up while making her exit from her latest wretched relationship she finds herself sharing a cabin with three hockey players from a rival team! Yes, she thinks they are all handsome, but when they all chime in to help her with an article to submit to her ex's column regarding how to be a good boyfriend, she may get more than she bargains for. Three points of view, three ways to romance a woman and three ways to bring her pleasure! But that 's not all! They like to share. Now it's only for the week they are in the cabin, right? With Rhys, Gavin, Hollis and Briar, there is more than meets the eye. Can they keep their hearts out of it? I loved this, not only for the article points. Each of these men were so different, bringing a new element to the mix. And Briar was strong, adventurous and passionate. Plus, how can I resist a book that includes a dachshund and a cat? This is a fun listen, and has left me wanting to hear the next in the series!

With a full cast narration like this one, nothing needs to be said. Samantha Brentmoor is the woman of this series, and she brings a vibrancy and passion to each role. Love her as Briar, with her insecurities and slowly lets her hair down. Bring in the cast of men, Teddy Hamilton the confident Hollis, Jason Clarke as Rhys the Englishman and Connor Crais as Gavin, the voyeur and it's nothing short of magic with them all together. Loved it!

3 awesome boyfriends

Really loved this last book in Lauren Blakely’s hockey why choose series. It was so nice to see not only the romance part but the friendship portion between all the characters. It was refreshing not to have bad communication as one of the trip ups in the story line too. Loved how the guys didn’t let the FMC get away with “faking it” and were patient with her and learned what she liked. Total AWESOME bonus was the bloopers at the end. I can’t tell you how much I loved hearing the funny mess ups and process. The cast did a stellar job in their performances.

5 STARS! Hot & humorous why-choose hockey romance!

A Lauren Blakely audiobook is always something special, but a fully casted Lauren Blakely audiobook is an experience. Well and Truly Pucked, the final book in Blakely’s My Hockey Romance series, is an immersive and utterly addictive reading event that showcases the author’s unparalleled storytelling skills. Blakely expertly weaves a tale of passion, humor, and heart in this rivals-to-lovers, forced proximity, reverse harem/why choose style hockey romance. Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke, Connor Crais and Teddy Hamilton’s individual and group performances were wonderful. Their portrayals of the sensual yoga instructor heroine and the three chivalrous, hockey-player heroes, their witty banter and off-the-charts chemistry came through my Air Pods loud and clear, drawing me right into their steamy encounters and heartwarming moments.

Blakely skillfully delves into the emotional complexities of a why choose/reverse harem style relationship, exploring the challenges and joys of navigating a love story with multiple partners. I followed along as Briar and the boys transitioned from friendship to something more, laughing, swooning and rooting for this unconventional quartet to find their happily ever after. With its captivating storytelling, brilliant narration and unforgettable characters, the audiobook version of Well and Truly Pucked is a must-listen for fans of steamy romance and why choose dynamics. Five smooches from me for Lauren Blakely’s Well and Truly Pucked!
