Publisher's summary
Phillipa Willoughby already had one successful Season, betrothed to Wesley, Duke of Chelmsford. But after her kind and gentle husband mysteriously disappears on their wedding night, she finds polite society intolerable and withdraws to the woodlands. She is delighted to learn the ways of the herbs and crystals she's found in the forest, and the traditions of the fae who call the woodlands home.
But all is not peaceful in this newly found sanctuary. The woodland creatures are being terrorized by a Wolven King.
When Her Majesty demands she attend The Monsters Ball, a three-day affair at a remote gothic estate, her family threatens to shun her if she attends. She plans to seduce the noblest members of this monstrous society to get information on the fearsome Wolven King.
Few have seen the beastly royal with their own eyes, but she'll stop at nothing for the chance to confront him.
But the Wolven King is on a mission too. When he's given a chance to reveal himself to Phillipa in his wolven form at the ball, he's reluctant. He's feral. And he's determined to reclaim the love of his life, even if the lady has vowed to destroy him.
Contains mature themes.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
I refuse to spend the rest of my life with my childhood bully for a mate. I may be a cursed shifter, incapable of shifting—but I wasn't desperate. Not till the Alpha Supreme cast me out of the House of Fire and Fluorite for rejecting his son. Now I'm packless. Homeless. No longer under the protection of a House. Until the dark vampire king of Blood and Beryl turns his sights on me. In return for protection from my former House, I have to become his fake mate. I'll be a queen and a fraud. It's a treacherous lie to live—and I find myself forgetting what's real and what's not.

Heartbreaking and heartwarming all in the same book
I am absolutely enraptured by the Monster Ball series! Each installment I've listened to so far has completely captivated me. I devoured all four books, each revealing a unique aspect of the ball and its mysterious happenings. I yearn for more tales, like the exhilarating
Minnotar and Snake story. My heart aches for the monsters to find love in a daring and unconventional triad. This series evokes a similar fervor in me as the beloved Bridgerton novels, but with a thrilling twist of monstrous intrigue. If you crave a blend of Regency romance and supernatural excitement, then look no further than the enchanting world of the Monster Ball series. It will surely ignite your passion and leave you breathless for more.
