I fell in love with the wanderer
after finishing the book, I keep thinking about the Wanderer, his amazing life and struggles, his trials and triumps, i loved travelling with him, highly reccomend this beautiful book about an amazing life, a remarkable journey about what a wolf experiences with so many insights into this amazing, intelligent and sensitive being!

A Gift from the Wilderness
Beautifully written and expertly detailed, the story of The Wanderer takes the listener into the Alaska wilderness in search of one wolf’s survival. The listener is treated to Walker’s gifted ability to get inside the mind of exquisitely intelligent animals. His vast knowledge of flora and fauna of the Arctic and Subarctic is akin to Adolph Murie. This story is bound to become a classic.
