Publisher's summary

Are you wondering about what you can do to help your child become successful someday? Does each night feel like a wrestling match between you and your child over homework? Do you think that your child is just so unmotivated and you worry about his future? Do you want to know how to support and empower your child in achieving his goals?

All parents worry about their children. We want the best for them, and we constantly worry if they are going to have a successful life ahead of them. But are we pushing them too far? More than forcing them to succeed, perhaps we should work towards empowering our children to become more self-driven. When we enable them to be more independent, they can drive themselves to success.

In this book, you will learn:

  • The most effective parenting style in raising successful children
  • What makes a person motivated based on research
  • How over-parenting can be retarding for children
  • How to harness the power of failure
  • External and internal sources of motivation you should tap into
  • The joy of unparenting

Rather than exhaust yourself running after your kids to finish their exercises, you should learn how to make them want to learn. Be more strategic in dealing with your children so that they can learn to push themselves to success. Parenting need not be a chore or a race. It is all about supporting and loving your children in pursuing their own successes. Let this book help you in raising a self-driven and successful child.

Preachy, Woke Psychobabble

This book is like nails on a chalkboard. Don't waste your time, as it spends an inordinate time talking about how terrible the world is. I expected to read a book about how to effectively raise a competitive, successful child, not listen to politically charged nonsense about police brutality and gun culture.
