Eighteen years later he is reunited with his wife and daughter, who discover that he has gained wealth and respect and is now the most prominent man in Casterbridge. For a college class
The performance was wonderful and engaging. However, not all the sentences from the text were actually narrated, so it made it difficult for me to interpret some of the underlying things for my class. It also was a bit confusing when the signalman spoke in first person since in the text the story is first person of the other gentleman throughout the entire thing. Loved the narrator though.
