Publisher's summary

Kadia Greene is a digital citizen living in Kaledon, a virtual reality she's been forced to call home.

With the assistance of her half-brother and their venerated guild, Eternia, Kadia endeavors to learn the mysterious art of Alchemy and find purpose in her new life. As High Priestess of Philosophia Naturalis, Kadia is granted incredible power and prestige—but also puts her at risk from enemies who seek to use her or harm those closest to her.

Kadia must be brave and resilient if she hopes to protect herself and those around her as she embarks on her mission to restore natural philosophy's path by returning honor and stature to her patron's domains within Kaledon. This will require difficult decisions that could have far-reaching consequences for all digital citizens. However, with courage, cleverness, and a fading moral compass guiding her every move, Kadia may be able to surmount the obstacles before her and write her name into Kaledon's history.

Another interesting installment

I am very happy with the narrator she is fantastic and the story while some parts felt a little tedious overall it was a good story the ending was definitely not what I expected but a good one nonetheless

Great LitRPG story

wonderful progression and I love the inclusion of experiments into the alchemy and magic systems. it's gives a wonderful death to detail to the story that isn't often found. Overall it's a wonderful book and can't wait for the next.

Fantastic Second Book

The Second Tail was a thoroughly enjoyable book. Kadia's journey continues with more exciting discoveries and fun characters. If you enjoyed the first book then this one will not disappoint.

tails are important

sorry i don't make the rules, Trismagistus dose ÙwÚ (ok fifteen word limit?)

lovely cross between "upload" and "Sword Art Online" but set in a future one might expect given current tech trends. (with a dash of "black mirror") delivered in a fluffy tailed fox format.

i love LOVE the blend of fantasy and scifi that is believable and actually kinda horrifying if you think about it.

It’s good but…

Things I like about this series: Noctus. (The narrators voice for him is sexy). I like the way Tris is portrayed. The world building is awesome, the pacing is ok and last but not least I love most of the side characters.

Things I dislike about this series: The MC is obnoxious (I understand she’s only 18 and has gone through some bad stuff but still) and seems overly obsessed with alchemy and transmutation. (There’s a whole new world out there but she hardly leaves her rooms). I’m a tiny bit sad that there’s no romance. And lastly….I don’t like how everyone just seems to laugh off her bad behavior.

*I did see that the author is going to rewrite so I’m hoping some of it gets fixed. I hope that if it comes to audible it’s with the same narrator as well!

10/10 would listen again.

Experiencing increased levels of dopamine, more please.

Really enjoyed this one finished it in a day, just couldn’t put it down. Now I have to go find something else until the next book is out. The rest of this review is totally pointless rambling because the fifteen word limit bothers me so much. If I have to think about what I’m going to say anyway, might as well just say it all in one sentence. I mean seven words is all it took for me to portray my point. I mean I do see the point of a word limit because one word reviews are pointless and too vague to deduce if it’s a worthwhile read. So i don’t know make it like five, so I’m not put off writing reviews for books that deserve it. In conclusion this title was well written and preformed. Looking forward to book three and now I’m going to go find something productive to do instead of writing the longest review I have ever written. But that makes me wonder if there’s a maximum word limit. A test for another time
