HOLDEN'S STORY

This is Holden's story. He has always had feelings for his best friend's sister, LaLa. When she is going to be in town for six months for her job she and she is living next door to Holden now. She too has had feelings for Holden, only problem she is engaged to another man. This was full of fun, sexiness, friends, miscommunication, love and so much more. I absolutely loved it. Narration was on point, I did the ebook and audio together.

It was a great story. It has all the feels. The narration was great. Andi and Teddy are awesome, but I wish it was a duet narration.

I don’t like Holden’s friends! Especially his band mates! They were horrible to him! LaLa worked my nerves to! She wants what she’s not willing to give! Her expectations that Holden should fight for her when he was the one fighting for them the entire book irritates me.

Great book

Love the storyline and the narration of Teddy Hamilton and Andi Arndt. I love Vu and Penelope books when they collaborate together. Hopefully this will become a series.

I absolutely loved this story and the narrators! What a fantastic story full of emotion!

Overall a good read.

This was nearly a DNF, but I’m glad I did. Sweet story but a few times I coulda shook the main female.

🥰 Totally worth it!!!

I dnf book one, just couldn’t get on board with the characters but I love a good brothers best friend trope so I gave this one a try and it did NOT disappoint! Holden is the perfect reformed player for Lala and although the lack of communication near the end was a little frustrating they pulled through with an ending that was worth it. I teared up a few times and also caught myself laughing out loud at this one. Can’t wait for Owens story❤️

FRIENDS▪️FORBIDDEN▪️FORCED PROXIMITY.. & FIREWORKS

They were forbidden and friends but opposites before they were lovers. Scientist Lala was engaged, settled and in need of stability and roots before it all started. And sex-on-a-stick Holden was a f’boy drummer with a heart of gold in a band on its way up. What on earth could possibly go wrong.. or maybe, just maybe, right? Lala wasn’t a heroine I particularly liked initially with her doubts, her hidden hesitation and her secrets. However, I loved loved loved everything about Holden who was prepared to give up his Player ways, speak sincerely and honestly and give their relationship one hundred percent of everything he had (which btw, was plenty.. and wow, hot 🤭🥰). How could it work you say?.. well, with well-written chapters of character growth, chemistry and the charm of secondary characters of course.

Worth a credit? Yes. Ms Ward and Ms Keeland - wow, that’s a mega-mighty talented writing partnership. Teddy and Andi - wow again, a pair of perfect narrators who delivered big. And an entertaining slow-burn-to-scorching rollercoaster relationship of layered emotions, wit, banter, lust, steamy sex, warmth, tenderness and love. Which all spun, circled and culminated into a very enjoyable listen.. especially when Teddy and Andi are expertly bringing all the full-bodied feels to life😉.
