Publisher's summary

Another role-playing game of Champion’s Quest awaits our young champions, but this time they are tricked into leaving the real world and tossed into the fantasy game that is a dangerous trap filled with new and challenging foes.

Teammates Lucas, Miles, and Jasmine—known as the Wild Crows—have been summoned by the wizard Gamemaster, Hob, to play another magical, adventurous game of Champion’s Quest. When the three friends are ambushed and forced into their second game, Lucas and his friends are ill-prepared to face what feels like an impossible quest—confront an evil centaur and outsmart a villainous, shapeshifting Questmaster to rescue a powerful magical ally.

An unexpected team member, Sierra, joins the Wild Crows to complete their band of champions. Can she be trusted or is she a spy? But Lucas has bigger problems to worry about. For starters, he struggles to keep his panic attacks in check as he leads his friends on a journey across unexplored lands filled with shadow elves, wyverns, hobgoblins, giants, and evil trees.

Using their wits, their powerful weapons, and hoping for some luck when rolling the magical game dice, the Wild Crows know what’s at stake: Complete their quest before time runs out, or the world of Champion’s Quest will be destroyed.

Alternative help

Our heroes went on another adventure, but with a twist, one of the original had a date which to her was more important than a quest, so they needed someone new, which turned out better in the end. I hope there is more to come.

major logic flaw

so it's mostly really good book but Jasmine is a bloody jerk and their are some logic flaws: some people act like death is a big deal even though everyone respawns, the story describes wounds which is ridiculous theirs no broken limbs or scratches in the lower etchlands, and last of all Berries journal describes corpses but your body just becomes green smoke once you Die!

Exciting and fast paced!

I enjoyed the narrator’s dependable change in voices for the different characters but found the one for Serena slightly abrasive. The story developed the main characters further and brought in many new aspects of the game! I’ll be looking forward to the next book in the series.

A wonderful sequel!!!

The twists and turns of the story were very enjoyable. The memorable characters are fun to observe as they react to a different challenges and quirky things that happened on the quest! I look forward to many more quests in this magical and zany world Frank Cole has created!!

The quest masters guide!

I really hate it when my adventures end, and I have to go back home. I just want my next Quest to begin right away. It may have something to do with the fact I am older than 13 years old however even in these books I never think about age, I just want to play oh how I want to play this game it sounds like the funnest thing in the world. Frank L Cole is a genius and should never ever stop writing. I enjoy every single one of his books and you should read them too.

A fun second adventure

I worried the second book may lack the fun of the first since the basics had already been explained but I found my worries unfounded. This was as fun for me as the first one with a whole new set of challenges. I look forward to the next one.
