Publisher's summary

"Leisa has a truly unique gift and has designed a path that will transform your relationship with money." (Grant Sabatier, author of Financial Freedom and creator of Millennial Money)

In the world of personal finance, the biggest challenge is the sense that there’s never going to be enough. It is this mindset of scarcity, and not the amount spent on lattes, that holds people back the most from achieving their financial dreams.

Using techniques she’s developed as a financial planner and spiritual coach, Leisa Peterson guides you to dig deeper and discover the root of your financial thinking to change not just the way you save and spend, but the way you live your life.

Through powerful practices, compelling stories and extensive research, The Mindful Millionaire meets you wherever you are in your money journey by exploring:

  • Where your current money habits come from and why you feel the way you do about money and success.
  • How to break the cycle of fear, grief, and shame that often surrounds your money habits.
  • How to write a new money story that inspires joy, satisfaction, and prosperity.
  • Why wealth building isn’t just about positive thinking and "manifesting" things into reality.
  • How to stop financial self-sabotage and procrastination.
  • Where practical financial advice misses the mark.
  • The most effective tools for changing how you think and feel about money.
  • What true financial independence looks like and how to discover the millionaire within.

Leisa Shares Intentional Time and Wisdom With The Listener

I joined Leisa Facebook Group during Covid and it’s great to see her Book out in the world!!!! Here’s my review Listening to Leisa’s book. You’re drawn in immediately, with the background opening music… The book immediately feels like a walk in the park with someone ready to share their intentional time and wisdom with me. So, many wisdom in it, here’s some I loved; “we believe our stories far more than we believe in our own potential as human beings”; “that money is a tool”; that we have 2 types of belief when it comes to money, direct and indirect.... So far, this is one of the best personal finance book I’ve read. I love how Leisa uses research and life experience to make this relatable, am currently in chapter 2. Happy Reading!!!

Favorite Money Book, WOW.

Mindful Millionaire brings together so many ideas from psychology and spirituality and provides a warm and inviting engagement with my own relationship with money.

As a fellow thought leader in the area of our relationship with money, I was blown away by Leisa's ability to integrate and share in a beautiful story form how we can continue to transform our relationship with money.

Leisa walks the talk and it is clear in her writing. As I listened to each section I felt increasing calm in my own financial life. If you have had trauma or painful experiences in your past and money has been your source of comfort and safety, Leisa will help you walk into a completely new relationship with money where it supports the life you want to live instead of the life you think you should live.

Far beyond just holding positive thoughts and intentions or knowing your numbers, I was invited into a deep reflection on the way I interact with money and then given the opportunity to consider new ways to think about showing up with money in my life.

This book balances the psychological, philosophical and practical sides of money which is no easy task to do. I will definitely be returning to this gem many more times to continue to deepen the relationship and security I can experience around money.

Insight guide & actionable toolkit for abundance

There are two ways to read (AKA experience) this book.

First, as a passive learner to gain insight and perspective on your relationship to money, wealth, and abundance.

Second, as an active participant to enliven your relationship to money, wealth, and abundance.

Just as we can’t manage what we aren’t aware of, if you read this book as an active participant in the ways you work with money and how money works for you, you gain actionable clarity on how to change money habits that are no longer serving your highest and greatest needs.

Through The Mindful Millionaire, Leisa Peterson has written a thought-provoking and action-oriented book that can change your experience with money, all while deepening your self-awareness. The book has a spiritual center to it but is filled with pragmatic thinking and tools. The tools and insights within The Mindful Millionaire meet you where you are on your wealth and spiritual journey.

I highly recommend The Mindful Millionaire if:
- You want to increase your clarity on how you see and relate to money and abundance
- If you’re looking to do inner work to change your money story
- If you’re seeking to increase your financial wealth and flow
- If you live with a spiritual center and want to see your finances as a cooperative flow that works for you and with the world around you.

The book is an insight builder, an awareness creator, and a toolkit to drastically change your money relationship for good.

Want true prosperity transformation? Read this!

I have read many books about prosperity as a coach and teacher as well as someone committed to transforming old family paradigms and this book is SO distinctly unique and powerful.

This is a deeply encouraging and inspiring book about transformation - but instead of the usual carrot tempting to “transform into someone else” who doesn’t have money struggles, Leisa encourages us to know ourselves…deeply. And know our family stories about money…deeply. And come into vibrant and loving relationship with ourselves and through this state of inner healing and growth we naturally come into the practical and powerful work of changing our relationships to money and our own prosperity.

Leisa blends an amazing weave of practicality and vision, of step by step and big picture. I am blown away by Leisa’s ability to walk us through this journey of learning about our own personal growth and healing intrinsically woven into the experience of shifting our view of who we are capable of becoming.

For many of us versed in the healing tools of meditation, breath-work, chakras, journalling etc., it is an eye opening experience to use them not just for spiritual growth but for a healthier and more abundant life on this planet. Wow!

Having listened to the book all the way through I am back reading it in book form…ready to take the exercises and own them in my daily practice. This is not a quick fix…no, it is a deep and beautiful dive into knowing and loving oneself and living a life free of old, disabling restrictions about life and what we allow ourselves to experience. The Mindful Millionaire offers us a totally new frame of being prosperous - and I can’t recommend it enough!

This Book Will Change You

You will not be the same person you are today ... once you finish The Mindful Millionaire. Leisa Peterson beautifully and compassionately shares her own story and the stories of others in this wonderful book. As you listen to her soothing yet authoritative voice, you can feel the passion behind her mission to help as many people around the world heal their money stories so they/we can expand into the lives we want by removing--through awareness--the baggage of these limiting beliefs about money and ourselves. Through a lifelong journey to heal her own money story and an immense amount of additional research, she describes how these beliefs prevent us from busting through these ceilings and into our full potential. She also provides the tools needed for implementing the necessary changes once our awareness has been raised. This is not a get-rich-quick-scheme of a book. Instead, it's for you if you are ready to become aware and open to your full potential in every aspect of your life -- money included.

Mealy Mouth Hogwash

I could only make it halfway through this swill before I had to spit it out. The liberal minded millennial psycho babble approach of this book was disgusting. If you have any strength of mind and half a backbone at all, you do not need this book. Read something about focusing on goals and perseverance instead.
