Not up to standard
Mr Patton can do better. I have read the entire series a few times. This time I listened to the audiobooks. The differences in narration from the first book to now is significant.  he can do better and has done better. There is not enough value in the legacy series to be worth the cost. I am invested in the story and really don’t want to see it fall apart, but it currently is.

This is a few chapters not a book!
This author has to be filing for bankruptcy! There is no other reason why he has been parceling out a few chapters at a time and listing them as “books” in a series. That and the fact that his hubris has lead him to believe he’s a capable narrator. I think he may actually think he’s the lead character. His writing has definitely gone downhill as well because he can’t get past simple phrases such as “he growled!” Or “she hissed!”
If I wasn’t so invested with the story and bored at the same time with money to lose I never would have bought any of these books. Such a shame.
