And then there’s Spot. He’s cute, cuddly, and friendly. He loves tug-of-war and fetch. He’s also a fire-breathing dragon who can devour an entire cow in about thirty seconds.

The Hungry Dragon Cookie Company is a collection of 14 short stories that take place before, during, and after the first three parts of The Unconventional Heroes Series. Each story hopes to answer important questions like: How does a company involving cookies and dragons even work? How did a trans-dimensional, protoplasmic horror and a Grand Necromancer become friends, and how did that horror develop an addiction to cake? How does an ancient vampire acquire the comely, young virgins she needs to maintain proper vampiric health without looking like a total weirdo?

Answers to all of these questions and more will be revealed. With unconventional heroes like Timmy and the gang around, life is never boring.

A pleasure to listen to

It's rare when you find an author, who is willing to place the reader, in a perfect world.
Some may look at this as a children's fairytale, but because of the nature of some of the content, I will disagree.
What this is, is a delightful whimsical set of stories that is a pleasure to listen

Wonderful side stories!

These are fun side stories that really let you get a better feel for each of the main characters. Each chapter is about a different story or a different character. I feel the most impactful stories are the ones that give you a glimpse into the past. You get a better understanding of just how hard Timmy's childhood was and how he and Sam came together as friends. You learn more about Avraniel's morals and reasons why she dislikes the other elves. There's even a lovely story about how the group created a Cookie Monopoly as a side hustle. If you like the previous books then. This is a nice treat before continuing with the main storyline, which I assume is the beginning of the war against the empire. I recommend this book. It was lots of fun.

Even a “filler” book is just pure fun

I save this series to listen between other books knowing they are all fun reads. The short story collection format isn’t my favorite, but after I got used to it and then just sat back and enjoyed the listen.

Can’t wait to start the next one.

wonderful addition to the series!

The whole series is beautifully crafted. This book is no different. I love how all of the short stories tie in to the larger ones. Each short story focuses on the different characters story and personality allowing us a more in-depth look into the thoughts and motivations of each "person".

Entertaining in-between story

I enjoyed hearing more about everyone past and adventures! Now I really want some cookies.

Great story and characters. Always something new and crazy going on with these guys. Another great fun book in this series.

Fully Entertaining

This is a wonderful book ,it lets you know the background the stories of each Main character.
So far I have enjoyed every single book of the chronicles.

Like a TV show

This book of mini stories was like catching episodes of a familiar show. More of comfort and connecting to each character’s background. Enjoyable.
