Story
This novel of 67,000 words is a sweet and clean variation of Pride and Prejudice written from a Christian perspective. The characters meet as children and grow in understanding of themselves and each other over the period of Elizabeth at age five until her marriage. There are no super-villains to wreak havoc on our heroes or heroines in this low-angst retelling. Except: Summer 1796 - On a mild summer day in Hertfordshire, Lady Anne Darcy sat in the shade of the terrace overlooking the generous expanse of manicured lawn behind their leased estate. Netherfield Park was an agreeable location ...

One warning, two cautions, and two notes: WARNING: Portions of this book focus on some of George Wickham’s worst crimes against young ladies. While the revenge taken is not fully or graphically detailed, it is extreme. “He had certainly formed such a plan, and without meaning that it should effect his endeavour to separate him from Miss Bennet, it is probable that it might add something to his lively concern for the welfare of his friend.” Pride & Prejudice, chapter 45 This vagary proposes an alternate path for the characters of Pride and Prejudice. I shall now know how to act. Do not imagine, Miss Bennet, that your ambition will ever be gratified. I came to try you. In a world where having magic is an overwhelmingly male trait, Elizabeth Bennet is an oddity. Not only does she have magic, but she can control three elements when controlling more than one is rare. She is semi-ostracized simply because no one seems to know how to treat her. That is, until Mr. Darcy comes to Hertfordshire. Mr. Darcy has never met anyone, man or woman, who has as much control over their magic as Miss Elizabeth Bennet. As he begins to teach her more about magic, helping her to hone her skills, he comes to realize how very beautiful she is when her face and eyes are lit with ...

Great JAFF for the Bennetts
Great story from beginning to end. The only complaint is the “Virtual voice” that is happening a lot lately. It’s wooden, says “hashtag “ when typo in script plus “Rossing” instead of Rosings which takes you out the story. There are others and hope that this be recorded over by Stevie Zimmerman or Harry
