This world never fails to surprise me! I take care of one problem only to be confronted by yet another—my unceasing enemies want what is mine. Good story with progression and new pet
The story had some good progression. I quite enjoyed it. The introduction of a new pet added some fun antics to the story. The new pet's portion of the story was appropriate without detracting from the main character.
I enjoyed how the main character handled just about everything. The only real issue I saw was not finishing off the current leader of his enemies in three different chances that readily came to him. There were also plenty of options for him to just go out and take off the head of the snake, but he didn't take them.
The story did progress rapidly with not a lot of time to do extra steps.
