Story
Minalan gave up a promising career as a professional warmage to live the quiet life of a village spellmonger in the remote mountain valley of Boval. It was a peaceful, beautiful little fief, far from the dangerous feudal petty squabbles of the Five Duchies, on the world of Callidore. There were cows. Lots of cows. And cheese. For six months things went well: He found a quaint little shop, he befriended the local lord, the village folk loved him, he found a sharp young apprentice to help out, and, best yet, he met a comely young widow with the prettiest eyes.

The difference in their uncanny eyes could not be easily discerned. In the rays of the setting sun, both Aravel's and Morlan's eyes appeared gold. In the pale moonlight...yellow. Seemingly the same. Such inscrutable likeness is the way of things with identical twins. But all who knew the two brothers well noted unmistakable differences, peculiarities more experienced than seen.

Prince of Dragon
It leaves you wanting to read the next one. It has a lot of characters at times moving about in one scene but it is worth following.

Rejuvenated and reborn
The prince of dragon kind is re-born to live among humanity. An interesting premise to be sure. This story brings a new and refreshing take on the concept of dragons, wizards, faerie and trolls to the genre. The story is well crafted and leaves the listener anticipating the next volume. Strong narration aides in the development of the characters and breathes life into the story.

Great!!
Love the narrative on this book. The different voices lends a great deal to how well it comes off as a story. I could picture it as it went. Great job.

Dullest story ever!!!
The beginning seemed interesting but as it got on in story it just was boring. Fight after fight with demons and dragons, and humans just wasn’t a good story line.
The narration was beautiful but the story line not so good!

A great classic fantasy with dragons
If you’re a fan of fantasy, there’s nothing not to like about this book.
It’s nothing out of the box in terms of themes or world-building, but I believe Miller really shines here when it comes to amping the drama and creating suspense.
I was surprised by how much I liked this novel. The title and description really do remind you of a litRPG novel, but it didn’t feel like one. This book is a much more polished and well crafted version of a reincarnation ‘tale-as-old-as-time.’
The performer doesn’t have great range when it comes to making new voices for characters, but the diversity of his ability to do accents was fun and helped distinguish more.
Just a great novel that I recommend to fantasy fans. Even though the dragons are humanoid, they are still awe-inspiring.

A very good fantasy.
Wonderfully narrated and the story is so different than the usual Dragon tales. I'm glad that I listened to this book. It gives you a what if you could start all over again. I received this audio book for free at my request and voluntarily reviewed.

A good fantasy adventure with a twist.
I was freely given this book for an unbiased review. No spoilers but if you're looking for an adventure fantasy, the author did a good job in telling the story. The plot and dialogue of characters were good. I felt it somewhat difficult understanding the background of some of the characters and how they came to be. Narration was great. Overall a good listen.

Interesting story but..
I struggled to finish this for a couple of weeks. I kept wondering why I was having such a hard time getting through this book, after all the premise is pretty interesting and the author has done a pretty great job in creating a rich lore to fill more depth into the story. But then it hit me, I can't say I liked or connected to ANY of the characters in the story.
