This is by far the best book of the genre I have ever read. If you can take an unflinching look at life among the various classes, you too will find it a favorite.

The narration pretty good too.
Well written full of observations of films that show the humour of the book.Sad and often disturbing the downfall of humanity but full marks for the turn around

I recommend it to any fan of military sci-fi. Its a familiar enough story line but this book has has some excellent twists and turns that keeps you entertained right to the end.
