In a personal letter written on July 17, 1967, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., thanked DeVore for being a part of "the great democratic crusade of our era". So Inspiring
I feel so fortunate to have read this book, and so happy that Ms. Devore left us her beautiful story towards the end of her life. What an inspiration. The writing was so eloquent and moving. I definitely recommend this book!
