A Pretty Good Prequel

It’s a pretty fun prequel to the film. The characterizations of the characters match the ones from the film. I’m unsure how much of this is actually canon to the DCU, but it’s a fun listen nonetheless.

Fun story

Green Lantern made me laugh. It’s a good prequel to the upcoming movie. I wish it was longer.

A nice little story, listen if your a superman fan. I’ve seen the movie and this is a nice add-on to help give you more background if your into that type of stuff.

A great prelude to the new film! The narrator does a wonderful job with all the various voices and the story is fast paced and fantastic. Recommended for any Super fan!

Very Good

It’s a children’s novel but entertaining nonetheless. It gives me The Animated Series vibes in a good way. Can’t wait to see the movie!

Fun movie prequel

I enjoyed getting a preemptive slice of set up for the upcoming Superman (2025) movie. A simple story but gives some character context to a movie that doesn’t make time for too much backstory. Check it out!

Apparently a children's book

I tried to listen to this. Even when it quickly became clear how awful it was, I still tried to listen to it. I don't see anywhere in the description that it's supposed to be a children's book, but when I scroll down I do see that there is advertised other books for children. That explains a lot. Even so, it must be written for very young children.
If you are getting this for you seven to ten year old, they might like it, though it still may feel juvenile if they are accustomed to reading other novels.
Though I was unable to finish, it's a poor story rife with holes and borderline non sequiturs. The dialogue was poor, trite, and even frustrating. I don't even think I would recommend this for the children for whom it was intended.
