Fascinating Introduction to mushrooms on the incredible benefits

Very good primer of the benefits of mushrooms. Identifies the top ones to consume along with the benefits of each. Prompted my desire to learn even more about mushrooms

Dr Davis, has done it again!

This dives so much deeper, than the previous books written. this gets down to the nitty gritty of the microbiome and how to unstuck your gut health! we are a on a movement to Gut Wellness!

Fantastic and helpful book to aid recovery

Thank you Dr Davis for this wonderfully written book! The narrator is pleasant to listen to as well. I have been on a multi year journey of healing. I just found out from my functional Dr that I suffer from Sibo overgrowth. This book has been a god sent in helping me to understand the complexity of the gut microbiom and how to help eradicate harmful bacteria from the gut. My journey continues with this fantastic book. I also purchased it hardcover so that I can make the many probiotic yogurts. Thank you!

Great breakthrough

A huge thanks to the author who brought to light these great and unespected recipies. We already have being remaking yogurt from the groceries stores and they come out fabulously good. I live in Japan and it took a little time for me to get the BioGaya L.Reuteri. It is a half way way (13 hours) in my Instant Pot. Wish you the and for the reader of this audio book the best regards I can send your way.

Great info for anyone suffering with gut issues

My only real complaint about this book is there is no written schedule/plan for the 4 weeks of changes that need to be made. I had to grab a pen and paper and take notes and go back and listen several times to get all of the needed information, which there is a lot of. There were also a few points I disagreed on, like gallstones being caused by a low-fat, low calorie diet. I had my gallbladder removed at 18 and obvious signs of gallstones as early as 12 and I most definitely did not follow a low fat/calorie diet. Aside from some misguided opinions, overall this is a good book full of valuable information. I highly recommend it to anyone suffering with gut issues or skin rashes, like I have most of my life, and is determined to find relief. I’m not sure why some feel this is a “snake oil” or “sales pitch” when he’s not selling a product. None of the products you need to acquire are marketed by Dr. Davis. Even though it would be more convenient if he did. You have to keep in mind this guy is a doctor not necessarily a writer, so if you’re looking for an eloquently written novel go read the Brontë sisters or something.
