Resumen del Editor
STILL ROARING is a full cast audio presentation, fully dramatized with music and sound effects. Full of nostalgia and humor, it follows the story of Rosylyn DeMarco, a dancer and actress in Vaudeville. When the play begins the time is now. Rosylyn is old— very old. She reminisces with Buddy Jr., the Cable Guy, about the Roaring Twenties and her Vaudeville days. The time switches to then, and a fresh-faced young Rosylyn steps off the bus and into a new life in New York City. She befriends Buddy the Milk Man, and goes on to appear on stage, become a dancer on the Orpheum circuit, and star in the flickers. When the time is again now, Rosylyn and the Cable Guy wrap it up with some surprise revelations.
Still Roaring is performed by Open Book Theatre Members Lane Bradbury, Bella Ferriera, James Rana, Robert Carroll and Jon Koons.
Live jazz and ragtime music provided by Metamorphic Winds.

Historia
It’s 1984, and life has changed beyond recognition. Airstrip One, formerly known as Great Britain, is a place where Big Brother is always watching, and nobody can hide. Except, perhaps, for Winston Smith. Whilst working at the Ministry of Truth, rewriting history, he secretly dreams of freedom. And in a world where love and sex are forbidden, where it’s hard to distinguish between friend and foe, he meets Julia and O’Brien and vows to rebel.

Historia
The 13 chapters of The Art of War, each devoted to one aspect of warfare, were compiled by the high-ranking Chinese military general, strategist, and philosopher Sun-Tzu. In spite of its battlefield specificity, The Art of War has found new life in the modern age, with leaders in fields as wide and far-reaching as world politics, human psychology, and corporate strategy finding valuable insight in its timeworn words.

Historia
It’s the summer of ’77 in New York City, and the only thing more unnerving than the scorching heatwave is the rampant murder, leaving washed-up homicide detective Richard Dietrich on edge. When Dietrich investigates a brutal mob hit the brass doesn’t want him to solve, he goes from phoning it in to getting in over his head. Caught up in a mysterious second homicide with an even more perplexing perpetrator, Dietrich starts to second guess his instincts—and his memory—as he searches for answers at the bottom of a bottle.

Still Roaring - An Enchanting Trip
"Still Roaring" takes us to Old New York, where Charlie Chaplin and Houdini are creating magic. One woman shares her engaging story about life as a performer, her compelling encounters, accomplishments and sweet memories.
The story is told with spirited dialogue by a talented team of actors who invite you into the old world. It's a great place to visit, and enjoy the authentic sounds and ambiance of the sweet, simpler times of days gone by.
The period music played by Metamorphic Winds is absolutely spellbinding and worth the price of admission alone!
Take this trip into a magical old world - you won't regret it!
