Publisher's summary

An exciting book based on the game Star Wars: Hunters!

On the planet Vespaara lies the Arena—a series of battlefields where fighters known as Hunters face off in teams to compete in front of roaring crowds. Newest to their ranks is Rieve, a Force-sensitive orphan from Corellia with abilities she can barely control, and a past she desperately wants to leave behind.

But Rieve gets off to a rocky start, strugging with her lack of confidence both inside the Arena and with her fellow Hunters. And when a mysterious stranger begins stalking the Arena, Rieve fears her troubled past has finally caught up with her….

Better than expected but aimed at younger readers.

Average story

Writing is on par for the age range it’s written for, minus one part of the story, the villain’s motivations become unclear.

I’d read more cause I enjoyed the characters.

There was some technical issues with this book though where a couple chapters were out of order/repeated.

A bit of a mixed bag.

The protagonist is both whiny and overwhelmed with self-doubt. Normally, I wouldn't have even finished the story. However, in this case, the character has just enough complexity to save the book.

Funny little none Saga tale.

All new everything! Very enjoyable tale, highly recommend for Star Wars fans like myself that are huge Pro Wrestling and/or Combat Fight fans. Enjoyable supporting characters back up an interesting lead. Easy to follow along details, with reveals filling in the gaps.

Star Wars meets WWE!

Wasn't expecting much from the tie-in book, but it was great!

No connections to anything else in the Star Wars universe.

Definitely check this one out.

Decent little book for younger audience

Decent little book for younger audience. Good narration and sound that we’ve come to know from Lucasfilm.
