If we gave 100 people $10,000 today, what results would we see one year from now? We would probably see that 80 percent would have $0 left, 16 percent would have $10,500, and four percent would have between $20,000 and $1,000,000. Why? Because, 96 percent of us have never been taught to practice the five secrets that result in natural, supernatural, and generational wealth multiplication.

Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money.

Publisher's summary
A hope-filled money guide to increase savings, earnings, and giving and actually enjoy it all while designing a life of freedom and eternal impact, from the founder of SeedTime Money.
Broken down and stranded 1,000 miles from home with only $7 left in his bank account, Bob Lotich had reached his breaking point. He was stuck in a dead-end job, living paycheck-to-paycheck, and overwhelmed by debt. Bob had been following the world's advice with money and this was the fruit of it. In desperation, he cried out to God for wisdom, for a different way. The answer was a simple four-part formula, one based on timeless biblical principles, and, most important, it worked.
After applying this simple formula, Bob discovered that his financial stress melted away and he finally felt fully in control of his money. As he continued to follow the four steps, he paid off over $400,000 in debt, reached a personal goal of giving $1 million by age 40, and achieved a level of financial freedom he never dreamed possible.
In his casual and approachable style, Bob (along with his fun-loving wife, Linda) shares everything he learned about achieving true financial freedom, including:
• How to create a money system so you can spend less time and get better results
• The One-Category Budget: get 80% of the results with 20% of the work
• The four keys to earning more in the digital era
• How to automate your way to financial success in less than 10 minutes
• The secrets of a six-figure giver
• Three credit card rules that banks don’t want you to know
• How to save $100s each month while still buying what you love
• And much more!
Whether you are doing “fine” or are in a financial crisis, the included 21-day kick-start will leave you with specific action items to guide you to success. You can have financial security, peace, significance, and eternal impact. Let Bob show you how to reimagine money as it was meant to be: simple.

Do you ride the escalator or do you take the stairs? No matter how you define success, it always requires one thing: self-discipline. But as popular speaker and strategist Rory Vaden explains, we live in an "escalator world", one that's filled with shortcuts, quick fixes, and distractions that make it all too easy to slide into procrastination, compromise, and mediocrity. What seems like an easier path is really much harder in the end - and, most important, it won't take you where you want to go.

Money. We love it. We hate it. If we don't have enough, we're struggling to get more. If we do have it, we're fighting to hold on to it. Why does money have to be such a source of anxiety? Is it possible to find peace? Yes! According to master integrative coach Nancy Levin, the real key to creating financial freedom isn't changing what we do, it's changing our limiting beliefs - and that requires more than just learning how to invest.

WIN what's important now
This book was pleasant to listen to. I started putting concepts into action immediately. It has inspired me to seed more and plan a course of action. Its not preach but direct to the point.

Breath of fresh air!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book!! Such a refreshing change of pace as relates to books about money. I was happy to see someone deal with the topic of money/finance from a practical & eternal perspective. Bob and Linda calmly takes the reader on a journey through the ways of how we handle, view and think about money. Their 4 step strategy has a very simple and practical approach to redirecting our money towards a healthier place that ultimately benefits us and the world around us. Great read!!

thoughtful, practical, doable
I highly appreciated the real life examples. I often felt like Bob was in my head...I know you're thinking "xyz", and I was! I really look forward to tweaking what we're doing to better serve God with our money.

Great book
I really enjoyed this book. I am a big Dave Ramsey follower, but I love how this book digs in deeper into our relationship with God in terms of money, giving, growing our money, our roles etc. I am looking forward to purchasing the hardcover and working through the exercises.

Heart and tactics without dogma
This is my new favorite book on personal finance! It deals with the heart and discusses simple but smart ways to manage finances. Linda reads parts of the book, which is a smart way to encourage and address both people in a marriage. Unlike other books, they don't beat you over the head at all. Highly recommended.

Lots of helpful insights
A handful of sections really spoke to me. Some sections gave confirmation that I’m doing the right things in certain areas and a couple sections made me reevaluate how I approach uncertainty of the future. Very powerful!
