Publisher's summary

You know that you are someone who is extremely or excessively fond of shopping, right?

Do you love strolling through malls in search of a bargain?

Or perhaps, you prefer compulsively surfing the internet for the latest Black Friday and other deals?

Somehow you find it almost addictive and can't help yourself but then, your great purchases soon mount up and you find you have spent quite a bit of money? What are the signs of overspending? What types of buyers exist, do you know? Is it a mental health disorder, and what goes on in a compulsive shopper's brain? Could it be linked to sheer boredom, depression, or low self-esteem and lack of self-confidence perhaps? How can you save more money rather than spend it all?

This audiobook makes a great gift and can be listened to from any section or sequentially. These days, the focus is completely on consumerism, and this can make it hard for those who simply like to browse and buy. This audiobook will provide proven insights into shopaholic spending sprees and how to stop, get out of debt, and save money.

One and done…..

Though there were some good points shared in this book, I don’t understand how the “ABC’s of Salvation” (religious chapter) has anything to do with shopping addictions. I found the narrator’s “reading” to be annoying with the tone inflections being off, as well as the spelling out of web addresses that were referred to. Would have preferred to “see accompanying pdf for web address”. I found some of her suggestions to overcome shopping addiction contradictory and not relevant. This book might be useful to understand why you are addicted to shopping, but I don’t feel that I found any answers in how to overcome it. Definitely a one-and-done for me…. Nor will I read any of her other books.

Absolutely awful

The contents are incredibly basic and repetitive. This book also shames people with shopping addiction. The narrator is awful. Find another book. Anything else. I feel ripped off.
