Just keeps getting better and better!
Paige is maturing in character. The world building is superb. Yet Paige is still being sent on deadly missions with little to prep to get the job done. One wonders why?
Nothing is easily done on these jobs and the villains are treacherous.
The writing and the story elements in a way remind me of Piers Anthony's Xanth series. Mainly because the odds of success in these weird alternative realms are off the charts.
The villains Paige and her team mate encounters are strong and determined to get the artifact. There is still secrets to uncover basically "Who and Why ."
This series is forming up to be a keeper for my collection. I just wish the books had been narrated by a true person and not a poorly made computer simulation narration.
