Publisher's summary
Emily lives with her successful film producer husband, Henry, in their lavish Silver Lake home in Los Angeles. Everything in her life is perfect, until she uncovers a journal stashed away in the attic. It begins, "I am Casey Simpson, and these are my secrets." From there, it unravels as a lurid memoir of sex and crime in real time, all involving her husband. She tries to ignore it, but the allure of the journal pulls her into its story and soon she can't think of anything else. She has to verify Casey's wild admissions.
Emily's search for the truth pulls her into a whirlwind of deceit, conspiracy, and murder that threatens the fabric of her existence. As she's forced to question what she knows about her husband, Emily is left with the fear that she might be sleeping next to a murderer.
Secret Girl is a quick, fast paced domestic thriller that will suck you in from page one and won't let go until its jaw-dropping conclusion.

Secret Girl
This story started well, and I thought I was going to enjoy this book. Iit went downhill half way through the book. I did not enjoy the virtual voice narration.

Terrible narration
I don’t normally write reviews, but I had to note how terrible this AI narration is! At first, I thought it wasn’t bad but after 30 minutes and I couldn’t do it anymore. The story might be good, I don’t know as I couldn’t even get past the 3rd chapter because of the narration. If I wrote this book, I’d be very upset with this reading of it.
